Vanilla - Kirsten

I went to the cd-presentation of "Vanilla" of Kirsten this saturday. And I enjoyed it a lot!
The first time I heard Vanilla, Kirsten sang it to me through the phone, that was one of my best memories...
Kirsten is a singer who just does her own thing, and she sounds best in real life. Really powerful. She makes her own songs, wich adds to the flavour. So if you can, go see her sometimes.
And the songs on the record i like more than the other one (chicksinger), they seem more balanced, she is definatly growing in her songwriting (but hey who am i? just a crazy amateur dutch boy)
It was a concert in Haarlem (patronaat) with everything on it, a broken string on the guitar, loud rude people in the back ('krakers') and crazy enthousiastic fans.
